Schools visits for education

Animals and us

All of our visits are designed and led by experienced and knowledgeable staff in a safe and exciting learning environment. Our sessions for schools are designed with strong National Curriculum links and have holistic child development at their heart. We offer individual day visits, a series of full or part day visits or we can come to your school with a selection of our animals.

Curriculum Linked Activity Sessions

Our focus and passion is for engaging the children, igniting their curiosity and love of learning by offering a wide variety of fun, kinaesthetic learning experiences across the farm. Whether it’s picking, shelling and tasting fresh peas in the garden or feeling the thick fleece of one our friendly sheep.

Our sessions for Early Years are designed to meet the Early Learning Goals whilst sessions for Key Stages One and Two meet the learning objectives of a variety of subjects with many of our sessions being cross-curricular. Activity sessions include a teacher’s guide with Curriculum links and suggestions and resources for pre and post visit ideas that are designed to scaffold the children’s learning. Our sessions are adaptable and can be bespoke to meet your requirements.
