Wildlife Zone Encounters

We opened Phase One of our new Wildlife Zone on 1st August 2018, following months of planning, fund-raising and construction. This exciting and ever-evolving project now enables visitors to view British and European native species up close and enhances the already popular Animal Encounters Programme with talks and demonstrations involving the new wildlife, such as the Red Squirrels, Wallabies and Birds Of Prey. There are also daily training sessions with the Silver Fox and Ravens. The Scottish Wildcats have just arrived and will be followed in September by the Pine marten, European Polecat and Lynx during Phase Two of the project. More information can be found at  Wildlife Zone – New for 2018!
