Farm to Fork
We serve freshly prepared, seasonal food that is sourced locally and home-reared or -grown wherever possible. All our meat goes to supply our cafés and is very popular with our visitors who can learn more about its production by following our Farm Trail on the farm.
Depending on the time of year, we have Dexter beef, lamb and pork from our rare breed sheep and pigs and fruit and veg from our own garden and orchards. We also produce eggs from our free-range chickens. Also, our homegrown fruit and vegetables go to supply our seasonal menus. There are menus for adults and children in both cafés, including vegetarian and gluten-free options.
The Barn Cafe is located in the Play Barn where there are menus for both children and adults that includes hot and cold dishes and snacks. Food is freshly prepared with the emphasis on healthy eating.
Opening times – 10am to 5.30pm:
- 10am to 4.30 pm – cooked food
- 10am to 5.30pm – hot drinks & cakes
